THE TUBES (Fee Waybill) – Outside Inside [Iconoclassic Records Remastered +4]

After the recent Fee Waybill albums featured here, some of you asked for THE TUBES 1983 LP “Outside Inside“. We have the Iconoclassic Records remastered version including bonus tracks, way better than the BGO remaster.
Produced by David Foster, almost the entire TOTO play here (Steve Lukather, Bobby Kimball, David Paich, Steve Porcaro) alongside top LA Session musicians such as Nathan East, James Newton Howard, Jay Graydon and many more.

FEE WAYBILL – Read My Lips [BGO Records Digitally Remastered]

As requested, here’s the only remastered version done by BGO Records of FEE WAYBILL‘s solo debut album “Read My Lips“. It was 1984, and the radio friendly, lite AOR music was the order of the day.
And to launch The Tubes frontman solo career Capitol Records put everithing at his service: the best songwriters you can get, namely Steve Lukather, David Foster, Michael Landau, Humberto Gatica just name a few, the cream of LA Session musicians – the aforementioned plus Jeff Porcaro, JR Robinson, Tom Keane, Richard Marx, Bobby Kimball & more, and a big production from the era, also handled by Foster / Lukather.
Many called this “Read My Lips” as a ‘missing Toto album’, as the overall sound & style here are in the vein of ‘Isolation’ or ‘Fahrenheit’.

FEE WAYBILL – Don’t Be Scared By These Hands (out of print)

Don’t Be Scared By These Hands” is the out of print and rare 2nd solo album from the legendary The Tubes front man FEE WAYBILL, produced by Richard Marx, and partially recorded in Sweden by Tommy Denander. Among the players we find Steve Lukather (not only on guitar but also keyboards), Bruce Gaitsch (King Of Hearts, Richard Marx), Tommy Denander, Randy Jackson and Johnathan Moffett, among others.
The album only was released in Scandinavia, and while there was a USA print the year after it was in limited quantities…

FEE WAYBILL – Fee Waybill Rides Again (2020)

We didn’t see this coming… in fact, nobody seen this coming because there isn’t a Press Release at all: after almost 20 years FEE WAYBILL is releasing a new album, titled “Fee Waybill Rides Again“. Produced and co-written with his long time friend RICHARD MARX, both have been quietly recording this album since the last year.
And let me tell you, “Fee Waybill Rides Again” rocks awesomely. Don’t let be fooled by the ex- The Tubes age; he’s 70, but his vocals are intact. And not only that, Fee rocks here like a few with a collection of killer, uptempo melodic rockers full of nerve.
As said, no PR, but we know that some talented cats recorded here uncredited – one of ’em a guy called Steve Lukather…
