YES – High Vibration SACD Box [Japan Ed. Bonus Disc WPCR-14678]

YES - High Vibration SACD Box [Japan Ed. Bonus Disc WPCR-14678] full

Appeared in 2013 and out of print now, this Japanese limited edition box set titled “High Vibration” packed 16 YES discs pressed on hybrid SACD of Yes material from 1969 to 1987, featuring all of the band’s studio albums from that time period all in replica paper-sleeve packaging, plus this awesome Bonus Disc of rarities, bonus tracks and remixes.

The mastering on these discs (newly created SACD Masters at 96khz/24bit) were handled by Isao Kikuchi, who has performed high-quality mastering for a great number of international artists, while Japanese producer Shin Katayama was chosen by Warner Music Japan as this project supervisor.
Needless to say, the sound quality is superb.

Apart from the complete studio albums, the pearl of “High Vibration” is this a great Bonus Disc full of must-haves.
Among the highlights you have the 1991 Move Yourself Mix of mega-hit “Owner of a Lonely Heart” commissioned to promote the YesYears box set, the slick and more commercial remix of “Big Generator”, the rare B-sides “Abilene”, “Dear Father” and the holiday single “Run With The Fox” amongst other rarities.
