W.A.S.P. - The Midnight Hour; Live '86 (2020) full

Titled “The Midnight Hour; Live ’86”, this W.A.S.P. show was made available for the first time as digital download format few days ago. The recording was previously released two years ago on vinyl LP (by the funny named label Night Of The Vinyl Dead Records as ‘Live In Japan 1986’) only.
Captured live at Nakano Sun Plaza, Tokyo, Japan on May 7th 1986, the performance was originally transmitted by the Nippon Broadcasting Corporation.

This is an interesting release because features live takes from W.A.S.P. songs never officially released in this live setting before. Of course this is a bootleg however the sound quality is pretty good.

Led by the unique Blackie Lawless, and featuring the outrageous lead guitarist Chris Holmes, their first two albums, 1984’s W.A.S.P. and 1985’s The Last Command – were both big sellers.
They embarked on a major tour to support the latter, culminating in five shows in Japan, one of them captured here.

1 – On Your Knees (Live 1986)
2 – Fistful of Diamonds (Live 1986)
3 – Sex Drive (Live 1986)

8 – Blind in Texas (Live 1986)
